The ThinkPad Proven and WorkPad Proven Program

To use the ThinkPad Proven or WorkPad Proven emblem, the

vendor must state that the product has been tested, warranted

and will be supported by the vendor according to the demand-

ing ThinkPad and WorkPad compatibility standards. Specifically:

• The vendor has stated to IBM that the test procedure has been

completed and the product is in compliance with ThinkPad

and WorkPad compatibility standards.

• The product is warranted by the third-party vendor for a mini-

mum of one year and in many cases, for three years (90 days

for software).

• The product has been approved for use on specific ThinkPad

notebooks and WorkPad models, as evidenced by the Proven

emblem on the package.

• The vendor meets or exceeds customer support standards

offered by vendors of equivalent products and services.
